RHAYADER Town Reserves extended their lead at the top of the Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South) with a 6-0 Boxing Day victory over local rivals, St Harmon.
In the only fixture scheduled for the Christmas period, Rhayader netted three times in either half to secure a comfortable win.
Gareth Hughes netted twice for The Red Kites whose other goals came from Lee Harley, Michael Fowlie, former player-manager, Dave Sivell and Rhys Thomas.
