A late goal from Darren Murphy was enough to seal Penybont Cup glory for Rhayader Town, as they edged past local rivals St Harmon in a tightly contested final at the Racecourse.
With the tie looking destined for penalties, Murphy forced the ball over the line in the 85th minute to break the deadlock and secure back-to-back titles for the Red Kites.
The holders had created several chances, with Jacob Jones going close either side of the break.
The Swifts also came close to breaking the deadlock when Rees Davies rattled the post from a wide free-kick in the second half.
The game looked increasingly likely to go to spot-kicks until a long throw caused chaos in the St Harmon box, and Murphy reacted quickest to bundle the ball over the line.
Captain Sam Rees lifted the trophy in front of a strong local crowd, accepting the trophy from Cllr Geoff Morgan of Powys County Council.
