Llangynidr Juniors FC recently hosted South Powys League’s Tweenie (Under 7s) football festival.

This was the first Tweenie festival of the season. Altogether 13 South Powys teams attended; including from Penybont, Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, Brecon Corries, Sennybridge, Hay-on-Wye, Crickhowell and the hosts, Llangynidr.

Club secretary Clair Jones said: “Despite the poor weather conditions, we had a terrific morning, with great enthusiasm from all of our young players, lots of smiles and a thoroughly enjoyable time.

"We really enjoy hosting this annual event.”
