All roads lead to The Weirglodd on Saturday as Rhayader Town and Llandrindod Wells clash in the Ardal League North East.
The teams meet for the first time this season with both eyeing up the derby spoils.
Rhayader are currently in the bottom two but there is a feeling they might have turned the corner after two wins from their last three.
Llandrindod too will be in good heart following their win at Llanfair United last weekend when they were boosted by the return of key players.
The Spa side have also announced that midfielder, Bob Kear is back with the club. Rhayader manager, Dylan McPhee is hoping to strengthen during the transfer window with a striker his main target with The Red Kites having scored the fewest goals in the Ardal League North East.
Builth Wells face the long trip to Llangollen Town. Despite a heavy defeat at Caersws a fortnight ago, The Bulls can be pleased with their form and sit in the top six after being promoted from the Mid Wales League.
Hay St Marys have the opportunity to regain their four point lead at the top of the MMP Central Wales League South away at Tregaron.
Hay lost in the Central Wales Cup at Abermule last time out but will not be overly disappointed as their main focus for the season has always been the league and promotion to Tier Three. But they could face a stiff test at Tregaron who have only suffered one defeat in the league and have six games in hand on the league leaders.
Tregaron are also yet to play Radnor Valley so could well have a big say in the destination of this year’s title.
Elsewhere Knighton Town will be aiming to complete a league double over their arch rivals, Presteigne St Andrews when the two clash at Bryn-y-Castell.
Knighton triumphed 4-0 at Presteigne on Boxing Day and will be keen to bounce back from defeat against Penparcau last weekend.
Talgarth Town and Penybont meet with both eyeing up three points.
Talgarth have notched just a solitary league win all season which is more than Penybont who have failed to win – their only point picked up in a 1-1 draw against Talgarth earlier in the term.
