TALGARTH cricketers past and present paid tribute to a club hero when they contested the first ever Hubert Mytton Memorial Cup last month.

The present day Talgarth lost to a team of former players in the competition, dedicated to Hubert Mytton, who occupied various roles at the club over a quarter of a century.

He sadly died earlier this year.

The past side ran out victors in the last over of the 30 over match.

The club is now looking forward to making this match an annual event.
