A thriving women’s rugby team is on the lookout for new members to join their ranks.

Gwernyfed Ladies RFC, who are based in Talgarth, have put out an appeal to recruit new players.

The friendly team are looking for women aged 18 and over who would like to get involved and join up with the squad.

Whether you’re eager to try a new sport or want to make a comeback after hanging up your boots too early - the team would love to hear from you. All are very welcome and no experience is necessary.

Training sessions are held every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at The Malthouse, 5 Trefeca Rd, Talgarth.
