Club rugby fixtures are cut short this weekend for a Six Nations break.

Three games including Wales v Scotland, Italy v England and France v Ireland were all due to take place this Saturday but concerns of the latest Coronavirus saw some of the tournament’s final round of games postponed.

The only Six Nations game still going ahead this weekend is Wales v Scotland at the Principality Stadium, 2:30pm.

Local rugby fans can enjoy a Friday night game when Brecon RFC Seconds XV play Pyle away, or fans can travel to Merthyr RFC where the Brecon RFC Youth team will play.

The Talgarth club, Gwernyfed RFC have had to cancel both of their games this weekend as they cannot raise sides. The Youth were due take on Beddau on Saturday, March 14 and the Second XV were supposed to travel to Abergavenny to compete in the Ivor Jones Cup against the Quins on March 13.

Other clubs enjoy a short break, with most teams returning to action next weekend.
