RHAYADER Town Reserves are now in a three horse race for the title after another weekend of shocks in the Mid Wales League South.

Rhayader player manager Dave Sivell must have been rubbing his hands as Builth Wells Reserves and Penybont again dropped points in their pursuit of league honours.

The Weirglodd side, who were champions two years ago, are now very much in contention again after what had looked a two horse race for much of the season.

Builth were held to a 1-1 draw by Sennybridge on the Lant Field while Penybont crashed to a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Llanidloes Town Reserves.
