As the Six Nations came to an end, Brian and Lorna Keylock’s raffles in aid of Cancer Research Wales did too.

Raising thousands of pounds for the charity, the prizes for the raffle were an Italy rugby jersey, and a France rugby jersey. The Italy shirts were won by Mitch Griffiths and Max Banning.

The France shirts were won by Shirley Coleman and Vinny Davies.

Brian and Lorna Keylock said: “Well, Wales didn’t win the wooden Spoon but there’s a long way to go until the World Cup and a few shocks all round. Best of luck to Ireland, well done; worthy winners by far.

“Despite some blustery weather the brilliant sum of £3,921 was raised over the tournament, yet again only possible by the wonderful support of the local people in this area and beyond.

“On behalf of the Brecon and Sennybridge committee of Cancer Research Wales, a very big thank you and from ourselves, Brian and Lorna Keylock.

“All being well, see you next year, just remember if you ain’t in it, you can’t win it!”
