Fire crews rescued a driver after a car overturned into a stream during an early-morning crash near Talgarth.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Talgarth and Crickhowell fire stations were called to Pengenffordd at 7:45am on Saturday (January 31), following reports of a road traffic collision.
The incident involved a single private vehicle which had left the road, rolled down an embankment and come to rest upside down in a stream.
Firefighters said a rapid rescue was required as one person was trapped inside the vehicle, with water entering the car and the stream’s water level rising quickly.
Crews used specialist equipment, including hydraulic cutting tools, lifejackets and a spineboard, to reach the casualty. A short extension ladder and lighting were also deployed to assist with the rescue.
The trapped occupant was successfully freed from the vehicle and suffered minor injuries. They were handed over to Welsh Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene.
Firefighters remained at the location until 9:51am.
