Brecon High School students are celebrating another set of successful A-level results, with pupils securing places at universities across the UK.

Headteacher Rob Edwards congratulated the school’s sixth form students on their achievements and praised their hard work and resilience.

Among the notable results was Nesang Limbu, who achieved A*AAD and will go on to study chemical engineering at the University of Southampton.

Henry Stephens achieved AABB and is heading to the University of Exeter to study English, while Zac Williams achieved CCCC and will study computer security at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Maddie Higgins achieved CCC and has been offered a place at Sheffield Hallam University to study film and TV production.

There were also strong performances at AS level, with Sam Standing, Daniel Southgate and Emma Perry each achieving AAA.

Tudor Forsyth achieved AAB, while Nia Jones achieved AAC.

Mr Edwards said the 2026 sixth form cohort had been an “incredible year group” who had worked hard and shown resilience while making a significant contribution to the school community.

“It was a pleasure to see the students collecting their results today and achieving some outstanding grades,” he said.

He thanked school staff for their work supporting students, as well as parents and carers for their support.

“Good luck to all of our students as they embark on the next stages of their education, careers and future,” he added.
