Brecon Mountain Rescue Team experienced a busy end to the week starting with a callout to Nant y Moch on Friday, December 1, where a dog was stuck at a dam.
The dog was rescued with the help of the rescue team and the people at Statkraft who helped the team gain access to the dog that was in distress.
A spokesperson for the team said: "The dog was rescued successfully and we avoided anyone putting themselves in danger. This little doggie was very happy to be back with their owners!"
A day later, on Saturday, December 2, the team were called out again to a young casualty who had fallen off their horse and suffered an arm injury.
The casualty was by a casualty carer and then handed over to the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust. The team wish them a speedy recovery.
Also on Saturday, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to assist Dyfed-Powys Police and ambulance with a road traffic collision as they were unable reach the area due to snow and ice on the road. Two people were taken out of the cold and to safety.
