Brecon Rotary Club is inviting the local community to turn leftover foreign coins from holidays into a force for good.

On Saturday, September 13, the club will be collecting spare foreign currency at the wishing well in Bethel Square in the town, with all proceeds going towards vital local and international projects supported by Rotary.

The event, running from 10am to 12 midday, will feature a display of a Rotary ShelterBox used in emergency relief efforts, along with children’s games for family entertainment.

Rotary members hope residents will dig out any forgotten coins from their travels and bring them along. Even small donations can make a big difference, helping fund essential services and relief efforts at home and abroad.
