The Brecon branch of the Royal British Legion is celebrating another successful Poppy Appeal, with more than £13,000 raised to support service and ex-service personnel in need.

Despite the challenging financial climate, the community in the Brecon region once again demonstrated its generosity and commitment to this vital cause.

The branch has expressed its heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed and shown their support, whether through donations or by volunteering their time and effort over recent weeks.

The Poppy Appeal is the Legion's largest annual fundraising campaign, held every November during the Remembrance period.

Funds raised go towards providing essential support to members of the Armed Forces community, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they deserve.
