Builth Wells Rotary Club has donated £1,000 to Builth Wells 1st Scout Group to help fund essential resources and activities for its members.

The cheque was presented recently by Rotary President Robert Evans to Richard Morgan, Chairperson of the Scout Group.

The donation will assist in providing safe play equipment and support the Scouts’ upcoming residential trip to Llangorse Activity Centre in July.

The Scout Group is led by Richard Morgan and his wife Sarah, who run weekly meetings every Tuesday from 6pm to 7:30pm at the Scout & Guide Hut.

Rotary is an international organisation made up of local people who come together to support their communities, aiming to make a positive impact both locally and around the world.
