WET weather failed to dampen the party spirit as the Queen's Diamond Jubilee was celebrated across Brecon and Radnorshire.

Powys County Council approved 16 road closures across both counties for street parties to take place over the extended four day weekend, including a giant party in Crickhowell's High Street on Sunday, June 3 and a large scale celebration in Talgarth's Town Square the following day.
