A HOSPITAL in Powys has stopped admitting new patients on one of its wards amid an outbreak of coronavirus, the area’s health board has confirmed.

Temporary measures have been put in place to protect patients and staff after a string of cases were reported on Llewellyn Ward at Bronllys Hospital.

News of the hospital cases came as Powys County Council urged rural communities to follow social distancing guidelines to help stop the virus from spreading.
