The post was shared this morning (Thursday, 17 September) about spray painted drawings that have been left on the back of a road sign.

The drawings seem to be of smiley faces and a hashtag symbol amongst a possible game of naughts and crosses.

Llanwrtyd Wells Town Council labelled the graffiti as ‘mindless vandalism,” as a spokesperson for the council said: “The residents of Llanwrtyd Wells repeatedly demonstrate their commitment and pride in promoting and enhancing the town as can be seen by the efforts made to establish a community orchard; the work put in by the Wales/Britain in Bloom volunteers, the individuals who voluntarily litter pick or clear snow off of bridges yet one thoughtless act of vandalism such as this graffitti can wipe outhe good impressions visitors get when driving through the town.”

They went on to say that this vandalism will be reported to the police.
