A Ystradgynlais man has admitted making 65 indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children.

Anthony Millard-Jones, 23, pleaded guilty to four offences when he appeared before Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on September 18.

Three of the offences relate to making indecent images of children between September 23, 2021 and June 30, 2025. The court record shows that these involved 22 Category A images, 22 Category B images and 21 Category C images.

Millard-Jones also admitted breaching a sexual harm prevention order by having Snapchat on his mobile phone and holding Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok usernames which had not been registered with police. The breach was recorded as having taken place on February 5, 2025.

The sexual harm prevention order had been made by Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court in June 2024.

Millard-Jones was committed to Cardiff Crown Court for sentence and was granted unconditional bail.

He is due to appear at Cardiff Crown Court for sentencing on October 23.
