This year’s lineup for Brecon Jazz Festival has been unveiled, with tickets now available.
The festival begins on Thursday, 6 August, with British jazz musician Courtney Pine opening the festival at 8pm at Theatr Brycheiniog.
The 43rd year of the Brecon Jazz Festival will see ticketed events at Theatr Brycheiniog, the Guildhall, and The Muse.
Along with Courtney Pine, headliners at this year’s festival include: Iconic vocalists Lianne Carroll, Emma Smith, Jacqui Dankworth, Welsh stars Tomos Williams, Ursula Harrison, Will Barnes, Jon Crespo, Dionne Bennett, and many more.
On Friday, 7 August, acts Blodeugerdd and Lianne Carroll will perform at Theatr Brycheiniog. Cable Street Rag Band and Jack Mac’s Funk Pack will perform at The Muse on the Friday, with Ursula Harrison on the Guildhall Stage.
Saturday, 8 August, will see Will Barnes, Orphy Robinson and Emma Smith with the Francesca Tandoi Trio perform at Theatr Brycheiniog, while Jane, Bella and Gareth, Grounded Thread, and Dionne Bennett will perform at The Muse. Phoenician Blinds and Olivia Cuttill will perform on the Guildhall Stage on Saturday.
The final day of the festival, Sunday, 9 August, will see Fergs’ Imaginary Big Band, and Jacqui Dankworth take to the stage at Theatr Brycheiniog. Hot Club Gallois and Jack Pearce will perform at The Muse on Sunday, as well as Fabulous Red Diesel Band who will be the final act of the Jazz Festival. Jon Crespo and Dave Jones Trunk of Funk will perform on the Guildhall Stage on the Sunday.
