The Met Office have issued yellow weather warnings over parts of north Powys for snow and ice across Monday 13, March and Tuesday 14, March.

The warning covers Newtown, Montgomery and Welshpool, along with most parts of north Wales.

Over the two days, rain, snow, and sleet is likely with ice to be followed.

The cold conditions are expected to disrupt roads and railways making travel difficult.

Injuries from slips and falls are likely, as well as some roads and pathways being untreated and very slippery.

There is also a yellow weather warning for wind across parts of Wales that could affect parts of Powys with high winds.
