Brecon Fair will go ahead next week with COVID-19 measures in place, Powys County Council has been told.

The fair, which has already visited Newtown and Knighton this year, is due in the town on Sunday and stay in the town until November 3.

Operators have confirmed that each of the fair rides will have sanitizing units and after each ride the handles and seats will be wiped down. There will also be strategic sanitizing units based throughout Brecon town for the public to use along with Covid Signage

The fair will also be using Covid Marshalls to help with social distancing.

Under Welsh Government regulations funfairs are allowed to operate in the control plan if outdoors and indoors since May when the country moved to Alert Level two. The country is currently at Alert Level Zero. Their regulation is covered by the tourism and hospitality guidance.
