New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: 9Thai at 16 Shortbridge Street, Newtown, Powys; rated on June 29
• Rated 5: The Wholehouse at Wholehouse Farm, Talgarth, Brecon, Powys; rated on May 19
Takeaways
And one rating has been handed to a takeaway:
