This year’s Brecon Beacons Food Festival 2025 was kindly captured by local photographer Barney McBaye.

The event on Saturday, 4 October, was a huge success for the town, championing welsh produce from across the country.

Festival organiser Andrew Powell said that numbers may have been down because of the weather, but believes sales were up with multiple food and drink businesses selling out on the day.

More than 60 exhibitors displayed and sold an array of Welsh food and drink in Brecon Market Hall, with something for everyone who attended. Stalls offered everything from artisan cheeses and homemade bakes to craft ciders, gins and wines. Local businesses such as St Mary’s Bakery attended for the first time ever and sold out.
