An immersive show experience is coming to New Radnor.

The New Radnor Hub, found on School Lane in New Radnor, plans to transform its community bar space to replicate a northern pub, as it welcomes the Critical Mass Theatre Company as they put on a production of Jim Cartwright’s modern classic, ‘Two’.

The show will run for two nights, from Saturday 26th September and Sunday 27th September 2026, bringing a fast-paced, intimate performance to theatre-goers.

Actors Victor Ptak and Helen Wingrave will play fourteen different characters, including the bickering landlord and landlady, and eccentric regulars who frequent the northern bar. The play has humour and drama in good measure, and hopes to capture the atmosphere and experience of a working-class local.

"We are thrilled to bring such a vibrant, high-energy piece of writing to the Hub," said a representative from Critical Mass Theatre Company.

"Performing it in the round right inside the bar creates an intimate, fly-on-the-wall experience. Victor and Helen bring an incredible dynamic to these complex characters. It’s funny, it’s deeply moving, and it reminds us all that every person sitting at the local pub has an incredible story to tell".

This production is generously supported by the Arts Council Wales Night Out scheme.
