Mid Wales Opera brings its acclaimed SmallStages tour to Builth Wells and Presteigne later this year with Leonard Bernstein’s witty one-act opera Trouble in Tahiti.

The production offers a sharp, jazz-infused look at 1950s suburban life and the cracks beneath the American Dream. Performed by a cast of five with live musicians, the evening also includes a second-half celebration of American opera and musical theatre.

As part of the tour, you can catch the show at Wyeside Arts Centre, Builth Wells on Friday, November 14, and St Andrew’s Church, Presteigne on Tuesday, December 2.
