Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault at a Brecon kebab shop on Sunday night.

A man in his 30s needed hospital treatment and three men were arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm after a fight broke out at Brecon Kebab House at about 9pm on February 24.

The injured man was left with a swollen eye, bruising and a cut lip, while the three arrested men have been released while further enquiries are carried out.

A statement from Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Officers are trying to identify anyone who was at the kebab house in Brecon High Street at around 9pm on Sunday, February 24, following a violent altercation involving four men.

"A man in his 30s sustained a swollen eye, bruising, and cut lip in the incident, and required hospital treatment.

"Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm and have been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.
