Garden lovers and horticulture enthusiasts are being invited to a special evening in Talgarth this June with acclaimed garden designers and multiple Chelsea Gold Medal winners David and Harry Rich.

Hosted at Talgarth Town Hall on Friday, June 26, the event will feature a talk titled A Naturalistic Approach: The Story of Harry’s Garden.

Known for their thoughtful, naturalistic planting style and award-winning designs, David and Harry Rich have become two of the most respected names in contemporary garden design.

The evening offers a chance to hear directly from the designers about the development of Harry’s garden, their creative approach, and the ideas that continue to influence their celebrated work.

The event is part of the ongoing celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of Grow for Talgarth.

Guests will also enjoy cheese and wine included in the £10 ticket price.

Harry and David Rich, often known as the Rich Brothers, are garden designers from Brecon who have become familiar faces on television and at major horticultural events. Their breakthrough with BBC One’s Garden Rescue brought them into the public eye, alongside regular appearances covering the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where their naturalistic planting style has earned widespread praise.

Both brothers studied landscape architecture at university and went on to build their own design practice, Rich Landscapes, which has produced a series of award-winning gardens and outdoor spaces.

They have also co-authored a book, Love Your Plot, Gardens Inspired by Nature, which aims to help gardeners transform outdoor spaces into inspiring green havens by working with nature. The book explores how different landscapes can be blended together using key design principles.
