A road safety event is being held near Crickhowell on the 27th of February, to encourage people to become more aware of driving safely past horses and their riders.

The British Horse Society will be hosting their event in Llangynidr Village Hall, Cwmcrawnon Road, Llangynidr from 7 pm, and are encouraging people to stop by to learn more about driving safely.

It comes after the British Horse Society received 3,383 recorded incidents, with 66 horses, and 3 humans killed in 2023.

The free event is open to all riders, drivers, cyclists, walkers, carriage drivers, and motorists. For more information contact [email protected].
