Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision on the A4078 in Talgarth this morning.

The crash occurred near the junction to Hay Road at 7:45am. The road was closed while emergency services attended to the scene.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police attended to a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a van on the A4078 near the junction to Hay Road at around 7:45am this morning.

“Two people were taken to hospital. The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene. Both vehicles were recovered, and the road reopened at around 12:30pm.”

“Finally a shout out to the staff of Orion Motors for helping to manage a difficult situation. Lessons may need to be learnt locally - but that's for another day.”
