Builth Wells bowler Pauline Wilson is back in action with her Wales teammates this morning after defeat in their opening game.
The Wales Open Triples team lost to New Zealand by 26 to 5 in the para bowls competition at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Wilson and teammates Jonathan Hubbard and Raymond Lillycrop will however have to put that disappointment behind them as they take on Scotland at 10am UK time.
The Scots will also be looking for their first victory of the games in the match, which starts at 7pm in Australia, having lost their opener to the hosts 18-6.
Wales are bottom of the six team Section A, behind the Scots, with Australia in second place behind the Kiwis who lead the group. South Africa and England, who drew their opening fixture 13 a piece, occupy third and fourth positions.
Also taking place this morning at the Commonwealth Games is the women’s hockey game between Wales and England.
Pheobe Richards, from Knighton, was in impressive form when Wales stunned world number 10 India to win the tournament’s opening game 3-2. Defender Delyth Thomas, from Llanfihangel Nant Bran, near Brecon, also made her Commonwealth Games debut during the victory as a substitute.
England won their opener, against South Africa, 2-0.
The game starts at 10.30am UK time.
