It is now four wins in a row for Builth Wells who eased to victory at Martley 2nds in the Worcester County Cricket League Division Seven (South).

Zulf Hoosenally (24) topscored for Martley, who were bowled out for 107 in the 28th over, against an impressive Bulls attack.

Martin Hurst (3-25), Dylan McPhee (3-23) and Musa Makhubela (3-18) all took three wickets before Aled Powell (1-10) finished the home side off.

Builth lost Steff Towns (13), Neil Harris (13) and Powell (8) before Makhubela and McPhee came together to see them home. The pair put on an unbroken 66 at more than a run a ball with Makhubela finishing on 34 not out and skipper, McPhee 27 not out.

In Division Eight (South), a century from captain, Gareth Grant could not prevent Hay falling to a seven-wicket defeat at home against West Malvern 2nds. A 133-run fifth wicket stand between Grant (123) and Tim Davies was the highlight of the Hay inning which closed on 285 for 6.

West Malvern batted well to reach their target with overs to spare with opener, Philip Chaundy (84) and Dharmik Barot (94 not out) the main run getters.

The big top of the table clash in Division Eight (South) saw Luctonians put themselves in the driving seat in the race for the title with a 205 run victory over Kington. Lucs made 299 for 9 with opener, Chris Ibbetson (104) again leading the way before bowling Kington out for just 94.
