Caerphilly Athletic were crowned Elite Stands UK Ardal South East champions after Brecon Corries scored a late equaliser in a dramatic 2-2 draw with title challengers Cwmbran Town at the Rich Field.
After a tense first half ended goalless, Brecon took the lead six minutes after the break when captain Dale Evans curled a low 20-yard free-kick beyond Callum Brain and inside the near post.
Cwmbran Town responded in the 73rd minute as Alex Davies raced through on goal, rounded Steve Price and slotted home to level the match.
The visitors looked set to snatch the win when substitute Jack Pwetner forced the ball over the line from close range in the 84th minute after Christian O'Donnell's free-kick struck the post.
But Brecon Corries hit back almost immediately. Substitute Mitchell Davies capitalised on defensive hesitation before firing into the bottom corner from the edge of the area to make it 2-2.
Cwmbran pushed for a winner in stoppage time, with Price denying Alex Davies from close range, but the hosts held on to ensure the title went to Caerphilly Athletic.
Cwmbran Town will now have another chance to secure promotion to the JD Cymru South through the play-offs, while Brecon Corries can still finish fifth if they win one of their remaining two fixtures.
