KNIGHTON Town and Llandrindod Wells could meet in the fourth round of this season’s Central Wales Challenge Cup but both first have to overcome difficult looking third round ties on January 2.

Llandrindod host Spar Mid Wales League first division title favourites, Penrhyncoch while Knighton are at home against Guilsfield who are the highest placed of the Mid Wales sides in the Huws Gray Alliance.

Hay St Marys will visit Aberystwyth University or Montgomery Town if they can get past Penybont while Radnor Valley will be out to cause another Cup upset. Radnor knocked Bow Street out of the Spar Mid Wales League Cup and in the Central Wales Cup take on another first division opponent in the shape of Aberaeron. And if they win that, Radnor will be at home against Rhayader Town or Builth Wells.

The full Central Wales Challenge Cup 4th Round draw, with ties to take place on Saturday February 6 is:- Aberystwyth Town or Montgomery Town v Hay St Marys or Penybont; Cardigan Town or Forden United v Kerry or Llanilar; Dyffryn Banw or Berriew v Llanidloes Town or Bont; Knighton Town or Guilsfield v Llandrindod Wells or Penrhyncoch; Machynlleth or Tywyn Bryncrug v Caersws or Llanrhaeadr; New Quay or Abermule v Llanfair United or Bow Street; Radnor Valley or Aberaeron v Rhayader Town or Builth Wells; Waterloo Rovers or Llansantffraid Village v Carno or Borth United.
