THE junior teams at Crickhowell FC have unveiled their new kit for the forthcoming season, courtesy of a sponsorship deal with Monmouthshire-based housebuilder, Edenstone Homes.

The club has been successful on and off the pitch in recent years, resulting in an increase in the number of players wanting to join, especially among the junior teams.

Club chairman, Huw Morgans said: “Since starting work on its development at Llangenny Lane, Edenstone Homes has been keen to play its part as a local business and be part of the community in Crickhowell.

“As a business based in Monmouthshire and with several developments in the area, we are delighted they have chosen to work with us, and the new kit for next season is most welcome.”

Edenstone Homes recently launched its show home at The Green – its 27-home development on Llangenny Lane.

Martin Taylor, managing director of Edenstone Homes said: “We take our responsibility to the communities in which we build very seriously. Right from the point we identify a potential site and design the scheme, we strive to minimise our impact on people, businesses and the environment.

“Part of that commitment is to work with local people and provide practical support. Our partnership with Crickhowell FCC goes being simply adding our logo to their junior team shirts. We want the Crickhowell to flourish and, by supporting young people in their sporting endeavours, we hope we can play a small part in community life that makes this place special.”
