THE Wayleave is a team Stableford with all scores to count for the final score, the competition is open for all the members allowing teams to be made up of men and/or women with full handicaps.

The conditions were still tough as there is no run on the fairways and the rough is still quite long so anyone who scored below their handicap must have played well.

The 12 could not have been playing hard though as we had two hole in ones, one by Ben Kelleher who was playing in the competition and another by a member of a visiting society.

Meanwhile the going was soft due to the recent heavy rain, it stayed dry for the ladies to get around, the course played its full length due to the fairways being soft and the rough is quite strong as it has had a bit of a growth spurt with the conditions.

Sue Pryce will now represent Cradoc in the Challenge Bowls Area final at Aberdovey on June 2. As Jan Boreham is away for the Area Final Pam Rooza will represent the club instead. Steph Jenkins and Kathy Dobbs will also play there on the same day but in the GUW Medals competition.
