ON Friday, April 13 the second Powys primaries Cross Country Challenge took place at the Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd.

With over 400 primary school athletes taking to the field, and 35 schools represented in the Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 girls and Years 3, 4, 5, and 6 boys respective races.

The results are as follows, top three athletes in each race were award with individual medals, and the top three teams were awarded with team medals, with the winning team receiving the age group perpetual cup.
