Ysgol y Bannau’s year five and six girls’ tag rugby team recently competed in the Urdd tag rugby competition in Ystradgynlais.

The team played several games and won them all, progressing to the finals where they were eventually overall winners.

They will now progress to the National round which will be held in Aberystwyth in June this summer.

A spokesperson for the school said: “Congratulations to them all and good luck to them in the final round!”
