A motorcyclist has died following a collision on the A4067 south of Cray in Powys.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the collision, involving a white Citroën Berlingo van and a red Kawasaki motorcycle, was reported at about 11:45am today (Wednesday, August 26).

Despite the efforts of paramedics, the rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Police said a road closure remains in place while the vehicles are recovered.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has information which could assist their investigation to come forward.
