Police are appealing for information after two teenage girls were reportedly followed by an unknown man in Brecon.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the incident happened at around 11pm on Monday, July 6, in the Llanfaes area of the town.

It was reported that the girls were followed along Watergate Street before they entered the Castle Hotel to seek safety.

The man has been described as being in his mid-30s, around 5ft 8in tall, and was wearing black trousers and a black hooded leather jacket.

Officers said they have carried out a number of enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage from the area, and are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help the investigation.
