BBC Question Time will be filmed in Brecon next week, five months after a planned visit to the town was cancelled at short notice.
The programme is due to be recorded in Brecon on Thursday, October 15, with members of the public now being invited to apply for a place in the studio audience.
Applicants will be asked to prepare two questions for consideration by the programme.
The programme had originally been due to come to Brecon on May 14, a week after the Senedd election, but the recording was moved to London at short notice.
The BBC said the decision had been made because of "dramatic and fast-moving events in Westminster", which became the focus of that week's programme.
Those events included the resignation of then-Health Secretary Wes Streeting and speculation over a possible challenge to Sir Keir Starmer's leadership.
At the time, the broadcaster told the Brecon & Radnor Express it was looking at alternative dates to return to Brecon.
Five months on, the programme is now set to make its return to the town.
People wishing to apply for the audience can do so through the BBC's Question Time website or by calling 0330 123 9988.
The BBC says applicants may be contacted on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before the programme, although it cannot contact everyone who applies because of the volume of requests.
