The Brecon County Show is set to return to Watton Showground on Saturday, August 1, with organisers promising a strong showcase of Brecknockshire farming, food and countryside life.

Run by the Brecknockshire Agricultural Society, the UK’s oldest agricultural society, the show continues to be one of the largest events in the county calendar. More than 19,000 people attended in 2025.

This year’s event will feature more than 300 trade stands, along with a food hall, shopping mall and craft marquee. There will also be a full programme of livestock and countryside attractions, including cattle, sheep, goats, horses, alpacas, sheep shearing and egg classes.

The countryside arena will host demonstrations alongside displays of forestry, horticulture and vintage machinery. Fairground attractions, dog classes and children’s entertainment will also run throughout the day.

A new addition for 2026 is the Paul Hannam Quad Stunt Show. Special guest appearances from Labubu, Sonic and Mario and Friends are also planned.

The show is supported by a number of sponsors, including Supershow, ARD Software Limited, Hay & Brecon Farmers, Honda Veterinary Practice, Mitchell Associates and Countryside Connections.

Full ticket details and a site map for the 2026 show are available via the Brecon County Show website.
