The parade will not be on the Bulwark this year due to the roadworks (B&R)

Due to roadworks on the Bulwark, this year’s ceremony will take place on the High Street outside the Guildhall. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

The parade sees locally based Gurkha soldiers march through Brecon in recognition of their long service with the British Army, spanning more than 200 years. The Gurkha Wing (Mandalay) is based in Dering Lines, and around 100 Nepali families now live in and around Brecon.
