The annual Coffee Morning to celebrate Saint David, our patron saint, was held at the Llanwrtyd Heritage and Arts Centre and proved to be a very well-attended and enjoyable event, writes Elin Mabbutt.

Susan Price extended a warm welcome to all those present and thanked everyone for coming and supporting the Heritage Centre yet again on what was a beautiful, sunny, spring-like morning.
She then welcomed members of the newly formed local choir, ‘Here’s My Voice’, whose first public performance in Welsh was well received.
Alaw Davies, Noa Price, and Enfys Davies then gave bilingual readings on Saint David, and finally pupils of Ysgol Dolafon, accompanied by Headteacher Chris Davies, Cath Williams, and Lucy Brown, sang in Welsh to the delight of all those present.
Also present at the Coffee Morning was Llanwrtyd Town Mayor, Councillor Martin Piggott.
Door stewards were Kath McCann, Lynn Ball, Lil Dempsey, and Llinos Evans.
Cakes were sold by Pat Jones and Jean Knee.
Tea, coffee, and Welsh cakes were served by Tess Ostroznik, Peri Emirali, Georgie Perrett, Sarah Jones, and Cheryl Rickard.
Raffle tickets were sold by Susan Price and Ioan Mabbutt.
Raffle prizes were won by: Virginia Evans, Ainsley Jones, Steph Power, Brian Pritchard, Diana Van Rees, Julie Farrow, Pam Barlow, Marc Daies, Dave Barlow, Peri Emirali, Lil Dempsey, Val Hope, Ella Jones, Alys Davies, and Etta Davies.
