Ysgol Calon Cymru campus in Llandrindod is partially open today, welcoming pupils who have exams, following a health and safety matter that fully closed the school on Friday.

The school is hoping to be back to being fully open tomorrow to all students. They have not disclosed the issue at hand after the school immediately closed at 1pm on Friday.

In a statement on social media, the school said: “Campus will be open as normal for all planned exams. Buses will run as normal for these to go ahead. Please arrange for pick up following the exam.

“However, campus will be closed for all other learners.

“Meals for free schools meals learners will be available on campus to pick up at the front office at the usual time. We are hopeful, and planning for a full reopening on Tuesday. Thank you for your continued understanding and support.”

The school’s Builth Wells campus is not effected.
