New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Cock Hotel, at Bronllys, Brecon, Powys was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 16.

And Foyles of Glasbury, at Glasbury, Hereford was given a score of one on April 16.

It means that of Powys's 270 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 159 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
