New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Walsh at LD1 ; rated on February 12

• Rated 5: The Clock Works at Wind Road, Ystradgynlais, Swansea; rated on February 6

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: White Horse Hotel at 13 High Street, Builth Wells, Powys; rated on February 7

• Rated 5: The Fountain Inn at 7 Broad Street, Builth Wells, Powys; rated on January 7
