A popular village fete is returning on Saturday 18th July.

Huntington Court will once again provide the setting for the much-loved Huntington Village Fete, with residents, friends and visitors invited to enjoy an afternoon of traditional summer entertainment in Huntington Court grounds, home to William and Fiona Shone.

This is a highlight within the village, and will offer a classic mix of stalls, games, competitions, raffle prizes, homemade produce, cakes and teas.

Live music from Guilty As Charged will provide a lively backdrop to the afternoon, adding to the festive atmosphere as visitors enjoy the stalls, refreshments and activities across the grounds.

This year’s event will be opened by The Rev. Sally Welch and holds particular significance, marking 70 years since the first fete at Huntington Court. The anniversary offers an opportunity to recognise a cherished local tradition that has brought generations of villagers and supporters together over seven decades.

Proceeds from the fete will support Huntington’s churches and Huntington Village Hall, helping to maintain important community buildings and services.

Funds raised this year will also be donated to the local branch of the MND Association.

The fete takes place at Huntington Court, Huntington, Kington, HR5 3PZ, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Entry and parking are free.
