Brecon-based esports club S.E.A. Dragons have strengthened their EA SPORTS FC squad with the signing of Rhys Vaughan, who recently represented Newcastle United in the 2026 ePremier League.

Vaughan joins the Dragons after helping Newcastle United qualify for the ePremier League Grand Finals, where the club secured an 8th-place finish. More recently, he also competed at the Esports World Cup Last Chance Qualifier in Paris against some of the world's leading EA SPORTS FC players.

The signing has already made an immediate impact. Vaughan has guided S.E.A. Dragons through to the Welsh Esports League knockout stages, with one postponed fixture remaining to determine whether the club finishes first or second in its group.

The Dragons are the reigning back-to-back Welsh Esports League Club of the Season and continue to represent Brecon and Powys across national and international esports competitions.
