FOOTBALL returns this Friday night with Radnor Valley taking on Llandrindod Wells as the MMP Mid Wales League Division One kicks-off.

The Goats host Llandrindod in a 7pm kick-off. Both teams will be looking to improve on their league positions from last year. Llandrindod finished eighth while Radnor, who had a strong start to the season, slipped away to finish in tenth position.

Radnor’s new manager, former referee, Rob Evans said: "We would like to compete in the top half of the league and playing Llandrindod in our first game will be a good test as to where we need to be."
